The Argon Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using argon/TIG welding equipment, while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are maintained.
KEY
Perform argon/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals.
Read and follow drawings, measurements, and welding specifications.
Prepare, cut, fit, and assemble metal parts before welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure proper quality and finishing.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Identify and correct welding defects where necessary. of stock.
Prepare regular stock and inventory reports.
Technical/Vocational qualification in Welding or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in argon/TIG welding.
Ability to work with stainless steel and aluminium.
Good knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
