Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.

Take beverage orders accurately and serve drinks promptly.

Recommend beverages based on guests’ preferences and provide knowledgeable information about available drinks.

Prepare cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, juices, soft drinks, coffee, and other beverages as required.

Maintain consistent beverage quality, portion control, presentation, and service standards.

Keep the bar counter, equipment, glassware, shelves, refrigerators, and service areas clean and organized.

Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies.

Inform the supervisor promptly when stock levels are low and support timely replenishment.

Maintain accurate records of beverage orders, stock usage, wastage, and other required information.

Handle customer bills and payments accurately in accordance with company procedures.

Follow all established cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures.

Maintain proper storage and handling of beverages and bar supplies.

Minimize wastage and use ingredients and supplies responsibly.

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and workplace cleanliness.

Follow food safety, health, sanitation, and workplace safety

requirements.

Verify that equipment operates correctly and report faults or maintenance needs promptly.

Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Work closely with waiters, kitchen staff, supervisors, and management to ensure efficient service.

Support the setup and closing of the bar, including cleaning, restocking, and securing equipment and supplies.

Monitor the bar environment and maintain a welcoming, orderly, and professional atmosphere.

Follow applicable responsible-service policies and company procedures when serving alcoholic beverages.

Participate in special events, promotions, and other restaurant activities as required.

Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, you should

Possess a minimum of SHS, HND, or an equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Catering, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field.

Have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in bartending, beverage service, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role.

Demonstrate practical knowledge of cocktail preparation and general beverage service.

Have strong knowledge of bar hygiene, sanitation, stock handling, and beverage presentation.

Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.

Demonstrate good numerical skills and accuracy when processing orders and payments.

Be able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant and bar environment.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and an excellent service mindset.

Maintain a professional appearance and high standards of personal hygiene.

Demonstrate honesty, reliability, punctuality, and integrity.

Be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and other shifts as required.

Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
