Control Room Officer

Job Summary The Control Room Officer is responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and communication networks to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of the organization. The officer serves as the first point of contact for reporting, documenting, and coordinating responses to incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems 24/7. Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency notifications. Coordinate with security personnel, Safety services and management during incidents. Maintain constant communication with departments HOD and ITM via WhatsApp group “Control Room”, telephone. Record all incidents, observations, and actions taken in the control room logbook. Operate and monitor access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry. Escalate critical incidents to supervisors and relevant authorities immediately. Always Post in Group with picture or short video evidence. Ensure all surveillance equipment and communication systems are functioning properly and report faults for maintenance. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly incident reports. Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and sensitive information. Fleet Management: Control the vehicle tracking dashboard to signal tracking non-operational to the technical team in charge of the trackers et to the ITM via email. Check the cars and report incidents immediately Call and query drivers when any moves or

locations seem unfit or do not match the daily routine reports generated by the marketing and sales manager. Always report every little information to the group platform to enhance direction, compliance and good performance of all departments. Monitor power backup systems and report any technical issues affecting operations. Support investigations by retrieving CCTV footage and preparing evidence when required. Follow all company security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response protocols. Training and Orientation You will be trained on basic experience in security operations or control room management. You will have to understand how CCTV systems work, backup and playback of footage as well. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, report writing).
