Role Overview

As an IT Support Intern, you will assist the team with day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, and help maintain reliable IT operations across the company. You will work closely with employees to resolve technical challenges and ensure they can use company systems and technology effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support to employees and assist with resolving basic IT issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

Assist employees with account access, passwords, email, and other basic technology-related requests.

Set up computers and other devices for new employees.

Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software, and support requests.

Assist with software installations, updates, and routine system maintenance.

Support the setup and maintenance of office networks and internet connectivity.

Monitor IT equipment and report technical issues that require further attention.

Assist with data backup and basic information security practices.

Help maintain an organized and efficient IT environment.

Provide basic guidance to employees on the proper use of company technology and systems.

Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel or service provider.

Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
