The IT Trainer is responsible for enhancing the product knowledge and technical competency of sales teams, promoters, and field staff. This role requires a strong IT background combined with the ability to translate complex technical features of mobile phones into simple, practical, and compelling sales pitches. The trainer will play a critical role in ensuring that frontline staff can effectively demonstrate products and provide exceptional customer service.
Key
Training Delivery:Conduct engaging training sessions for sales representatives, promoters, and other staff.
Train employees on mobile phone specifications, features, applications, and basic troubleshooting.
Deliver refresher training whenever new mobile phone models or products are introduced.
Content Development:Develop comprehensive training materials, presentations, manuals, and product guides.
Simplify complex technical and IT-related features of smartphones for easy understanding.
Sales Enablement:Train sales teams on effective selling techniques and product demonstrations.
Support sales teams with technical knowledge during product launches and promotions.
Assessment & Evaluation:Conduct product knowledge assessments and evaluate trainees' performance.
Identify training gaps and recommend appropriate training programmes to management.
Qualifications &
Education: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: Experience in training, sales, mobile phones, or consumer electronics will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills:Good knowledge of smartphones, mobile operating systems, applications, and basic IT concepts.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Soft Skills:Strong presentation and communication skills.
Good public speaking skills, confident and expressive.
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
