We welcome an academic professional who is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment, engaging students through effective teaching, and contributing meaningfully to the growth of the department.
Key Duties and
Teach and facilitate undergraduate and graduate courses in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Develop and deliver engaging lectures, course materials, learning activities, and assessments.
Design and continuously improve course content in line with relevant academic and industry standards.
Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Supervise undergraduate projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations as assigned.
Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic committees, seminars, and institutional activities.
Contribute to community outreach, professional engagement, and other academic initiatives.
Present research findings at conferences, seminars, and other relevant academic forums.
Collaborate with colleagues on research, curriculum development, and multidisciplinary academic projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the department.
Qualifications and Experience
PhD in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from a recognized and accredited institution.
At least 2 years of teaching and/or research experience at the tertiary level.
Demonstrable evidence of research publications in reputable academic journals.
Experience supervising student research projects, theses, or dissertations will be an advantage.
Evidence of conference presentations will be an added advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ICT and digital teaching skills.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary academic environment.
Commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and student success.
