The Plant Protection Guard will maintain a visible and professional security presence across the facility. The role involves controlling access, conducting routine patrols, protecting company assets, responding to incidents, maintaining security records, and ensuring compliance with established safety and security procedures.
The successful candidate will demonstrate alertness, integrity, sound judgement, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to security and emergency situations.
Key
Access Control
Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying the identification of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Ensure all visitors sign in correctly and remain accompanied by their designated host.
Enforce the company’s visitor policy, including the use of high-visibility vests and appropriate visitor escorts.
Prevent unauthorised access to restricted areas.
Monitor personnel and vehicle movements in accordance with established security procedures.
Patrol and Asset Protection
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including the perimeter, parking areas, warehouses, and other critical
locations.
Identify and report suspicious activities, security vulnerabilities, and safety hazards promptly.
Check doors, windows, gates, and other access points to ensure they remain secure, particularly after operating hours.
Protect raw materials, finished products, equipment, and other company assets against theft, vandalism, and loss.
Verify that all products leaving the facility have the required documentation and authorisation.
Inspect vehicles and personnel in accordance with company procedures to prevent unauthorised removal of company property.
Enforce company security policies and procedures.
Ensure employees and visitors comply with applicable safety and security
requirements, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Identify and address unauthorised access, theft, unsafe behaviour, and other breaches of company procedures.
Incident Response and Reporting
Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and other security-related situations.
Immediately report suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards to the Security Supervisor.
Assist with emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and fire alarms, in accordance with the facility’s emergency response plan.
Help maintain order and protect people and property during emergencies.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports detailing security-related events and actions taken.
Record Keeping
Maintain accurate visitor logs, patrol records, incident reports, and other security documentation.
Complete all required security records accurately and submit them within established timelines.
Count products on pallets during inspections to help prevent theft, loss, and discrepancies.
Record and report discrepancies identified during security checks.
Customer Service
Maintain a courteous and professional presence at facility entrances and other assigned areas.
Welcome and assist employees, visitors, contractors, and other authorised persons.
Provide directions and relevant facility information when required.
Respond to questions, complaints, and concerns calmly and professionally.
Represent Kasapreko Company Limited positively through professional and respectful conduct.
